From 2007, TeMALab is engaged in the publication of quarterly TeMA – Journal of Land Use, Mobility and Environment, the first on-line scientific journal of the University of Naples Federico II, directed by Rocco Papa.

With ANVUR resolution of April 2020, TeMA Journal and the articles published from 2016 are included in A category. TeMA Journal has also received the Sparc Europe Seal for Open Access Journals released by Scholarly Publishing and Academic Resources Coalition (SPARC Europe).

  • Focus e objectives

TeMA is an international, scholarly and peer-reviewed journal that publishes original inter-disciplinary papers on the interaction of transport, environment and land use. The broad scope of the journal is to foster the construction of new, scientific and professional skills, on a topic of increasing interest to those who study and work in the fields of the physical transformations of the city and the territory: the integration between the disciplines that study urban transformations and those that address the issues of mobility governance.

  • Peer review

All papers in the journal undergo rigorous peer review, based on initial editor screening and double-blind refereeing by at least two anonymous referees.

  • Indexing

With ANVUR resolution of April 2020, TeMA Journal and the articles published from 2016 are included in A category. TeMA Journal has also received the Sparc Europe Seal for Open Access Journals released by Scholarly Publishing and Academic Resources Coalition (SPARC Europe) and the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). From 2015, the articles published on TeMA are included in the Core Collection of Web of Science.

  • Frequency of publication

Journal items are published as part of an issue with its own Table of Contents. The frequency of the publication is quarterly.

  • Open access

The journal provides open access to its contents, thereby making research freely available to readers, encouraging the exchange of ideas and knowledge globally.
